With the cooperative efforts of the CRB and the inmates, and supported by donations from the community, last year approximately 20,000 articles were delivered to area charities for distribution to those in need. With hard work, support, and persistence, the inmates continue to produce much needed, handcrafted items. Recipients are most grateful for this assistance and look forward to continued aid through our collaboration.
The Special Event has been hosted by the CRB for 30 years. Smiles abound at this friendly competition that builds confidence, promotes social skills and teaches sportsmanship for a group of Central Kentucky students with special needs. The Federal Medical Center staff, CRB members, and the inmates of Atwood Camp work together to make this a memorable time for all who attend.
